Cycling Career
Hayden joined the Black Line Coaching team in 2024, but his time with Black Line began as a junior when he raced for our team! Since then, he has gone on to represent Great Britain at a number of events, including recent Nation’s Cups.
As a first year senior, Hayden was a member of the U23 European Team Sprint winning team. Over the last 4 years he has successfully competed at a number of high profile events, with results including a Bronze medal at Milton Nations Cup, Bronze in the sprint at the 2023 U23 European Championships and a 6th place (in front of a home crowd!) at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Alongside his international success, Hayden recently took his first Elite National title, by winning the Keirin at the 2024 British Track Cycling Championships.
We are very much looking forward to adding results to this list as Hayden progresses through his career and would like to use this opportunity to wish hm the very best in the upcoming season.

Having represented Great Britain at an elite international level, and benefited from developing in one of the world’s leading track cycling teams, Hayden has a fantastic knowledge of training principles and how to make riders faster. Importantly, he is very able when it comes to identifying what areas need to be targeted for each individual rider. This is an important factor, when considering how someone’s training background, age and lifestyle impacts what training is best suited to them.
Hayden also embodies what Black Line Coaching is all about. Having been a key part of our racing team, he shares our passion for cycling and the simple enjoyment of riding your bike as fast as you can. We are delighted to have him as a part of our team and believe he is a fantastic coach, suiting a wide range of riders.
